Holiday Gift Guide

Holiday Gift Guide

THE CANVAS –

1. Essie Nail Polish ~ 2. Kate Spade Coasters ~ 3. J.Crew Earrings ~
4. Kate Spade iPhone Case ~ 5. Voluspa Candles ~  6. Brittany Fuson Notecards

These girly gifts can given to girlfriends, sisters, moms, etc. as gifts or stocking stuffers. The best part is that they have a wide price range from $10-$80, so there is something for every budget.

My favorite find was the notecards! I found them on a blog I read and was obsessed. I thought it would be fun to give different sets of cards to my girlfriends and find the illustration that matched their personality the closest!

“Let it snow…let it snow…let it snow!!”

I loved pairing my bright pink Hunter boots with my black and white accessories. These Hunter boots were a great alternative to the traditional UGG or Sorel. In this case, I felt like I created my outfit around this accessory. Sometimes people think that accessories only help bring together an outfit, but in some cases (like this one),  they can actually be the focal point of the entire outfit and truly be the star.

P.S. ~ Check out the giveaway on my friend’s blog C&E…she is giving away a $50 gift card to Shabby Apple!! The giveaway ends on Thursday, so do it now before it is too late.

Last weekend we picked out our Christmas tree and spent yesterday decorating the tree and house. This is one of my favorite things to do all year and I absolutely love the smell of a fresh pine tree in your house. Nothing beats a live christmas tree to make it feel like the holidays.

For our outing to pick up the tree, I slipped on some of my favorite boots (usually I don’t like inexpensive boots, but these have great color and the quilting makes them look more rich) and an oversized sweater I picked up at a local store. To give my sweater a little more shape, I decided to put on a belt that helped tie in the color of the shoes with the outfit.

Happy Holidays!

This weekend, we had quite a storm on Sunday. The winds and rain were going crazy! My hair in essence, did not survive the storm well, and I thought that a hat would be the perfect accessory to protect my hair from the wind and rain. Just throw your hair into a low ponytail or messy bun and you are good to go.
