Last weekend, the lovely Angie from The Fashion Fuse (make sure to check out her DARLING new blog) had a blogger high tea party at The Grand America Hotel! It was such a fun event and was such a great opportunity to meet with a bunch of fun Utah fashion bloggers, editors, etc.

I love having any excuse to dress up and have some amazing food! It is a great experience and I recommend everyone try it.

 If you have been following my blog at all, you know that I have a teeny tiny (ok huge) obsession with boots!! And even more so with riding boots. I think they are an absolute classic style that will never go out. There are a lot of items in my wardrobe that I buy cheaper (trendy tops, party dresses, fun leggings. etc) but one of the few items that I think it is ok to splurge on is a quality leather boot. And in stepped ARIAT!

These beautiful two-toned riding boots are made of full-genuine leather and top hardware. I think the contrasting cuff along the top, gives a unique factor to the boots and brings in dimension, appeal and color that is hard to find elsewhere.

I have been wearing my boots non-stop this week (especially with our rainy weather conditions). Although I paired them with my favorite new knee-highs and skirt, I have also layered them over leggings with a big comfy sweater for a more comfortable approach.

The thing that makes me more excited about these boots than anything is the comfort! I am used to wearing heels a lot, so sometimes when I wear a really flat shoe, it can be uncomfortable. I love that these riding boots from ARIAT have a slight heel and the quality makes them feel light and sturdy. This is probably because these boots were crafted to fit an equestrian lifestyle, while also being fashionable for an everyday use!

I can’ wait to check out all of the other boots they have to offer. Here is a link to my boots (I got the black with the Black leather with Cordovan leather trim, but I think the brown/black boot is exquisite as well).
