Fall & Transitional Accessories

Can you believe it is already the end of October? I don’t even have my Halloween costume finalized, when I should already be thinking about Thanksgiving menus and holiday gift buying. Sometimes, I don’t know where the time goes. But since Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year, I am starting to bring out all my favorite cold weather accessories. That includes hats, beanies, scarves, and lots and lots of jewelry (my favorite jewelry site can be found here…in case you were wondering lol). Since I have a lot of red/pink undertones to my skin, my go-to metals are either gold or rose gold. Some of my favorite pieces include this delicate Tory Burch necklace, these floral earrings (pictured above), these ear crawler cuffs and this psuedo cuff. I have found that while I do wear nice silver pieces (hello David Yurman), I tend to focus on gold and warmer pieces around my face. Dainty jewelry will always be my go-to selection (as you can tell from my OOTD), but since I like to wear lighter jewelry, I try to pair it with heavier fall accessories like my thick wool gloves, a beanie and some cozy boots. If you were to wear big, chunky necklaces or heavy earrings, it would probably compete too much and almost make it look like you were trying a little too hard. Sometimes less can be more. And in this case it was.

Below are some of my favorite accessories as of late, and I have linked the same or similar products to what I am wearing.

What do you like to focus on during this time of year? I know it can be tricky with the changes of seasons, styles and temperature, but I would love to know in my comments below.
