Adding a little sparkle…

Shirt : Target ~ Pants : H&M ~ Shoes : Target ~
Necklace : ILY Couture ~ Bracelet : J.Crew ~ Sunglasses : Michael Kors

The other day I was on Madewell and saw that they were promoting this shoe, that looks almost identical to these shoes I got at Target recently. The Target version is literally over $100 cheaper. There are certain items I think it is worth spending more money (purses, black dress, coats) that will be in trend for longer than a few years. So unless you know something I don’t know about the tuxedo shoe trend, I think  it would be better to go with the “cheaper” version, but that’s just my opinion 😉

Inspiration Canvas – Accessories

Scarf : French Connection ~ Watch : Kate Spade ~ Aviators : Stella McCartney ~
Crystal Necklace : J.Crew ~ Ring : J.Crew ~ Black Sunglasses : Cateye ~ Earrings : Kate Spade ~
Bracelet : Asos ~ Turquoise Necklace : Dannijo

These are some accessories I am coveting right now.

Skirt : Zara ~ Sweater : Forever 21 (similar) ~ Shoes : Banana Republic (old) ~ Purse : Louis Vuitton ~
Watch : Michael Kors ~ Bracelets : Vintage, Lois Hill ~  Ring : David Yurman ~ Shoes : Banana Republic

OPTION 1 – Necklace

OPTION 2 – Scarf

OPTION 3 – Fur Stole

Accessories can make an outfit. This look shows how you can top off a simple outfit with different accessories. The necklace makes a standard (yet modern) approach, the scarf gives it a relaxed vibe and the fur stole an elegance.

Charlie’s Angel

Shirt : Free People ~ Pants : NYJD ~ Shoes : Guess ~ Hat : Forever 21 (loving this) ~
Glasses : Urban Outfitters~ Purse : Louis Vuitton ~ Ring : David Yurman

I was drawn to this blouse because I loved the exaggerated sleeve. Rather than pairing it with black leggings, I decided to give it more of a “70’s vibe” by pairing it with bright blue boot-cut jeans and topping it off with my favorite floppy hat.

Sunshine, on a Cloudy Day

Shirt : American Apparel ~ Skirt : Forever 21 (similar ON SALE!) ~ Jacket : Juicy Couture (old) ~
Scarf : Nordstrom (old) ~ Belt : Michael Kors  ~ Shoes : Jessica Simpson (similar)~ Purse : Louis Vuitton

With the dreary days around us, it is nice to bring in a pop of color to your wardrobe. I first thought this was a skirt I could only wear in the spring or summer, but by pairing it with neutrals and layering on accessories, it was able to work in the cooling weather.
