Today’s trend is Fitness Favorites

I have been the biggest fan of fitness wear for the last year or two! I’m not sure if it is because I work from home more, or just have a more casual daily approach to style, but I love to wear a good pair of leggings, workout top and sneakers.

Today, I am sharing with you one of my recent “fitness inspired” looks from a trip I took to San Diego. It was a surprisingly rainy day in San Diego, but that didn’t stop us from heading to the beach. But just to be safe I threw on a hat, rain coat and some casual sneakers just in case there was any rainfall that day.

Can you believe it is already Febraury?! The months seem to be flying by. And although these winter months are not always my favorite, one thing I do look forward to is celebrating Valentine’s Day. Not only is it a day of love, but it is also the dating anniversary for Preston and I, so we always make sure to make it a very special occassion.

Today’s trend is Winter Vests

While most people throw on a jacket or sweater during the cold months to keep themsleves warm, vests are also an awesome option! They are currently all over my tik tok FYP page or my instagram feed with most people are wearing them as a street style look with large oversize vests over sweatshirts, jackets, etc.

Today, I decided to share a look that I fell in love wiht on first site. I found this cropped puffer vest on Amazon and had originally thought I would buy it in black, until I saw the hot pink option and couldn’t pass it up.

Dainty Gold Jewelry Finds

If you were to look at my style back when I was in college or my 20’s, you would have seen me decked out in BIG bling. I loved all things big, and lots of layers. I am talking J.Crew, Forever21 and every chucky necklace or bracelet you could find.

Fast forward to my 30’s and now I am obsessed with all things Dainty! While I will still throw on a statement jewelry piece now and then, I actually prefer to keep my jewlery simple and I have invested in some pieces that I love.

If you are looking for some quality pieces, I recommed looking through these categories for rings, necklaces or bracelets (or shop some of my exact pieces below). Some of my favorite jewelery companies for dainty gold or silver jewelry include AuRate, Tiffany’s, BaubleBar fine jewelry, and Uncommon James.

My rose gold diamond bracelet was given to me as a present for my wedding by my husband. It is a piece that I wear every day and I with it being so dainty, it allows for me to wear it on a constant basis.
My new bracelet matches my absolute favorite rose gold diamond necklace. I have had this necklace for a few years, and I kid you not, I wear it every single day! It is great, because I can layer any piece over it, so if I want more of a statement I will throw on this gold link necklace or this collar necklace.
I love this ring I got from a local boutique, Banks Jewelry. My gold bubble ring is one that I got at an eent they put on this Fall. It was fun being able to checkout a new designer and I love shopping local and supporting small businesses run by women. Another gold ring that I wear all the time actually has a stone very similar to my birthstone and can be be found here.

I hope that you were a little inspired today and will think about going on a personal journey to find your best jewelry style for yourself! Just go out on a ledge and try new things or a new style, you will be surprised what you find and what you like.

Trend Spin Linkup – DRESSES

Today’s trend is Dresses

Every year, around Christmas time, my mom, sister and I always venture down to The Grand America to enjoy some festive holiday Afternoon Tea! It is such a fun experience and we look forward to going every year to experience the food, music, window stroll and all the holiday decorations. Unfortunatley, this year my sister was not able to join us due to testing positive for Covid right before Christmas Eve, but my mom and I still ventured down and had the most amazing Sunday afternoon.

Do you live in Utah? If you do, I would highly recommend the afternoon tea anytime of the year. Another fun time of year to go is when the flowers start blooimg around April or Easter weekend!

And while the tea does not have a specific dress code, I would say most guests tend to dress up, so definitley throw on those dresses, skirts, fancy jackets/sweaters, and embrace the theme of High Tea!
