Today’s trend is Winter Boots

Boots are my go to choice in the snowy and cold winter weather! And trust me when I say, I have lots of options in my closet lol. This week I pulled out a pair of my tried and true boots for a little staycation downtown. How beautiful are the lights at The Grand America Hotel? I could stay down here all holiday season long xo.

I just bought a new pair of holiday pajamas…so let me tell you, I am very excited to show them off to you next week! And I may give you a sneak preview of some of the christmas pajamas I bought our little boy.

Today’s trend is Holiday Dresses

Can you believe the holidays will be here in a few short weeks? It is crazy to think how quickly they approached this year. No matter if you are looking for a dress for Thanksgiving or Christmas or maybe a holiday party, there are a lot of fun options out there between dramatic sleeves, sparkly fabrics or maybe even a simple black dress paired with some blingy accessories (which is exactly what I did lol). 

This was a great maternity find from Boohoo that I wore to a friends wedding a few months ago, and now am looking forward to wearing it this holiday season! I was thinking I could make it look more festive with some red or green accessories. What do you think?

Today’s trend is Sweater & Knit Dresses

With my growing bump, I have been embracing a lot of sweater dresses! I have been pulling out some of my old dresses that aren’t necessarily maternity dresses, but the sweater material has a lot of extra room and stretch, which makes it still form fitting in all the right places, but still comfy for the bump. This week I pulled out a short sweater dress (not maternity) and belted it to give me a bit more form. Since the dress is a bit shorter, I decided to pair it with some flat boots, so that the hemline felt a little longer. I would even recommend wearing this dress over leggings or tights if you want to show a little less leg!

Today’s trend is Prints & Patterns

While I have been wearing a lot of solid colored pieces lately, I love to mix in some fun prints and patterns! The fall weather wants me to pull out printed sweaters, scarves or even a full printed dress. This week I pulled out an oldie, but a goodie! While this is an old piece, I think there are tons of other cardigan and sweater options out there that would give a very similar look. I especially liked it paired with this tight bodysuit from Amazon. It is a dupe from Aritzia, but with a much smaller price tag. It is definitely high on my list for recommendations!
