Today’s trend is White Denim

When I first thought about this theme’s outfit, I thought I would for sure put on a pair of white denim jeans for this look. I wear white jeans constantly in the Spring and Summer, and figured I should pull them out since we are getting closer to Labor Day, but I decided to mix things up by choosing to focus on a white denim jacket. And while this jacket is the center of the theme…I would have to say THIS DRESS is now the center of the whole look! I got this dress from Lulu’s last week and am obsessed with the fit. It is probably one of the most flattering dresses on (especially with the cut and it being black), but the best part is that it is under $45. It comes in 10 different colors, and I am thinking I am going to have to add more to my collection. 

And just for sizing purposes, I do feel like it runs a tad bit on the small side. I am usually a Medium (Height 5’5′, Weight 145) in most things Lulu’s, so I ordered a medium in this style as well, and while I like the look (it makes my waist look so small), I think the large may have added just a little more breathing room and length to the dress. So if I order again, I will definitely order up one size.

Today’s trend is Spring Prints

Spring makes me think of all kinds of prints and patterns…especially checkers, polka dots…and over course, florals! Today I wore an unconventional floral top (hello studs) with this fabulous pink short suit. I have never owned a short suit before and I am OBSESSED! I had bought this for Easter, as I wanted to do something a little different this year, by doing shorts instead of a dress. Because of the stay at home movements though,, I may be rocking this suit in my backyard with a mimosa in hand.

Need I say more? Bring on that white fabric. It’s almost Memorial Day…right 😉

Today’s trend is Easter Dress

Easter is coming up in just a few short weeks. With the pandemic of Corona Virus, you never know if we will be able to celebrate like we usually do with churches, restaurants and everything else closed. But it might be best to brighten your spirits and throw on an Easter dress anyways. Find something that makes you feel like Spring, and lets hope this warm weather hits us soon. 

Have you found your Easter outfit yet? I wore this dress last week for my birthday (hence the balloons)…and I think it would be a great dress to wear for Easter as well. The color is bright and cheery, but the black accessories are perfect for a transitional outfit.
