Today’s trend is Dressy!

For my mom’s birthday/mother’s day, I decided to surprise her with an overnight stay in Las Vegas and tickets to the Michael Jackson ONE show! It is one of my favorite productions I have ever seen, and we have been talking about going for forever. We finally pulled the trigger and went over the weekend. We had so much fun and I couldn’t have asked for a better girl time with my momma.

I typically wear a black or sparkly cocktail dress whenever I am in Vegas, so I decided to mix it up by wearing this midi lace dress and I got so many compliments. Sometimes it pays to mix it up a little bit!

Next week’s trend is Sandals!

Sandals are a staple for me all summer long and I am excited to start pulling them out as the weather gets warmer. Check back in next week to see what sandals I am wearing, but also to linkup your favorite summer staple shoes.

Today’s trend is Shorts & Crops!

We have lucked out with the weather in Utah this past week and it has finally started feeling like spring!! Can I get a “Hell-Yeah” please?

And I’m even more excited for the weather because my darling friend gave me these light pink lululemon shorts for my birthday and I can’t get enough of the color and fit. I seem to always get black in workout clothes, and I love that I have been adding some pastel pinks into the collection as of late (plus they match my shoes)!

Next week’s trend is Dressy!

Today’s trend is Statement Jewelry!

These earrings happen to be my favorite new accessories I own. And the reason I know that, is because when you build you entire outfit around your earrings, you know you have something special going on.

This will be an interesting theme, because while it may be spring, I just woke up to 6 in of snow, and a power outage from the wind storm. But its spring in Utah, which means tomorrow might be 75 and sunny. You just never know what you might wake up to!

Today’s trend is Pastels!

When I think of Spring, the first thing that pops into my mind is pastels. I have bought a few spring dresses lately and this is one that I wore on Easter. It has a sophisticated look to it and is a good transition piece, since it is shorter, but has the long sleeves.

Now the only thing I need is a good tan, so it doesn’t match my skin color so closely haha
