Today’s trend is Transitional Style!

Summer is coming to an end and my favorite season fall is in fast approach! While the weather is still a little hot (I’m talking 90’s in Utah haha), I have started transitioning my style for the upcoming months. My trick to transition style is all about layers!! It is easy to add or shed depending on what you are doing, but helps add texture and depth to any outfit.

Today’s trend is Workwear Essentials!

One of my favorite things about having a career in an office, is that I feel like I get to play dress up every day! I love being the fashionista in the office. Especially when people ask me for wardrobe advice.

For this week, I wanted to wear a casual, yet very office appropriate outfit. While a lot of people wear collared shirts and sweaters to work, I decided to mix things up by pairing two very opposite colors (neon pink and navy blue), to give an unexpected color mix and pop.

I finished off the look with a pair of chic loafers that are a perfect flats for work days or can be dressed up at night or on the weekend!

Today’s trend is Red, White & Blue!

Summer is coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy my last few times by the pool! Last weekend I pulled out one of my favorite swimsuits. I pretty much only wear one-pieces lately, but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. This wrap swimsuit can be altered so many ways, and makes a statement no matter where I go.

Today’s trend is FUN SLEEVES!

So while I do have some tops with some VERY dramatic sleeves, I decided to showcase the simple details of one of my favorite sweaters from Zara. While it is no longer available, I did link to some other great finds. I love the simple pearl details and the small ruffle that helps make this a great transition piece from day to night.

Next week’s trend is RED, WHITE & BLUE!

While I mainly wear this color combo in July, I think it is such a great color combo to wear all summer long! I am a die hard patriotic person, so anytime I can wear the colors of our country, I will!

Since I went to The Grand America this weekend, I decided to pull out some poolside attire for the theme. Make sure to check back next week for details!
