Today’s trend is SUMMER DRESSES!

I have literally been living in dresses this summer. It has been so insanely hot in our neck of the woods, and dresses seem to be the most lightweight and easy option to throw on. 

I absolutley love some of the summer dresses I have found on Lulu's lately. They are typically well made, trendy, good fit and colors, and the best part…affordable! 

This long pink dress makes me feel somewhat like a barbie doll, but I think the color and high slit make it really fun and an attention grabber. 

Also a quick funny story. For all you bloggers out there, yesterday I went to snap photos of my look, and my camera just decided NOT TO WORK. Full panic attack was about to happen, but I figured we had our iphones and why not roll with the punches. I ended up taking all my pictures today with my mom's iphone. Kind of crazy how far the world has come and that you can take such good quality pictures with your little devices. Good thing for apple, or I may have had a real stressed out moment haha. 
 

Next week's trend is FLORALS!

Who doesn't love a good floral look. It is the perfect look for spring and summer, and really adds some brightness and feminitiy to any look. 

Whether it is a bathing suit, skirt or your favorite floral romper, we want to see your favorite floral pieces next week.

Today’s trend is SUMMER STYLE!

This is a pretty easy and open trend this week! Whether you want to show off your new favorite pair of shorts, some strappy sandals or even your new fave swimuit, remember that the sky is the limit! 

My look is from a few weeks back when my family was visisting Napa, California. This dress was the perfect hing to bring on a vacation because it is made of a neoprene scuba material and doesn't wrinkle, so it is so easy to pull out of your luggage and go! 

I can't wait to go back to this beautiful area…it has literally become one of my favorite places I have ever traveled to!

With the forth of july right around the corner, show us some of the best red statement pieces you have so we can all get a little wardrobe inspiration! 

One of my new favorite pieces is actually this red jacket from Zara that I got when I was in California a few weeks ago. It was excellently tailored and is a piece that really pops because of hte vibrant color. Paired with some turquoise and it is a real winner.
