Today’s trend is Shorts, Skirts and Rompers

No matter which of these options is your favorite trend, we want to see your take on them here. I also love wearing skirts around this type of year, but I am headed to Nashville this weekend, and want to bring some rompers/jumpsuits with me. Any recommendations on where you get your favorite?

Memorial Day always makes me think of boating at the lake, outdoor BBQ’s and long weekends. While sometimes we go out of town, I think we will most likely enjoy the long weekend with a little staycation instead, so we can prep for our Mexico trip. Woot woot

Today’s trend is Denim

These painted floral pants might be my favorite jeans in my closet. The color of them is so unique, and the flowers add the perfect feminine touch to the rugged look of the ripped knees. I have had a ton of luck with Zara on finding jeans, where is your favorite place to shop for denim?

Next week’s trend is Shorts, Skirts and Rompers

The weather in Utah has been on the up and up and I keep finding myself wanting to wear all types of skirts, rompers and shorts. While I have been more drawn to skirts as of late, I can tell my rompers are quickly grabbing my attention.

Trend Spin Linkup – KIMONOS

Today’s trend is Kimonos

I don’t have a lot of kimonos in my wardrobe, but I came across this robe I had in my closet, and I have been seeing a lot of people wearing robes, pajamas, etc, out on a normal basis.

I’m still trying to decide if I like this look haha (I’m just being honest)…but I do think it is important to experiment and try new things. I’ve come up with some very unexpected combos and memorable outfits this way.

Next week’s trend is Denim

I am such a fan of denim. Jeans are one of my favorite staples in my closet, and while I used to have to get expensive jeans, most of my favorite pairs are from Old Navy, Forever21 and ASOS.

Now I just have to decide which pair I want to feature, or if maybe I want to add in a denim shirt, jacket, etc. to my look. What will you be wearing?

Today’s trend is Ruffles & Frills

This week, I had to show off one of my favorite dresses I own from Zara! Not only is it a super fun and interesting pattern (love cheetah)…but it also has an extremely flattering shape and definitely plays up the ruffles/frills.

While it is no longer available, Zara is always a great place to find animal print dresses. Some of my other places I love to shop for animal print include Shopbop, Nordstrom, ASOS and Lulus.

Next week’s trend is Kimonos

Since the weather is warming up, it is nice to get some alternative looks to the typical jacket. Kimonos are a great way to still stay slightly warm, but without having to layer on heavy pieces.
