Blog Collaboration – Stripes With aBree Fashion

Blog Collaboration : STRIPES

Hey everyone, meet Bree! She is the fabulous fashion blogger at aBree Fashion! Not only is she a fabulous dresser, but she actually designs some of her own clothes as well.

Today I am thrilled to say that Bree and I have teamed up to show you a few of the different ways to wear stripes in these upcoming seasons. It seems that both of us have similar style, because we both chose dresses, and bright colors like neon pink and green to show off our look. Great minds think alike!

Visit her blog here to see how I syled my striped ensemble and where to get the merchandise 🙂

So excited to show off this blog swap!

So it snowed…again. Shocker. But it was a beautiful Sunday and I decided to pull out my floral blouse to try to will Spring on! I can’t wait to wear bright colors and florals this spring.

I am also excited because I am going to Mexico this weekend and hopefully I can get a nice tan and will finally be able to show off my legs again once they are not pasty white haha

THE CANVAS –

Blouse : H&M ~ Skirt : Zara (on sale!) ~ Tights : Hue (gray sheer) ~ Shoes : Aldo (love these!) ~
Scarf : Nordstrom ~ Purse : Tory Burch ~ Sunglasses : Ray Ban ~ Watch : Michael Kors ~
Necklaces : Nordstrom, J.Crew ~ Rings : Nordstrom , Vintage (pinky ring) ~
Bracelets : Kate Spade, J.Crew, Forever21, Brina’s Boutique

I got this scarf recently and wasn’t sure if it was something that you could only wear in October? I decided why not, and thought it would be cool to play up an eclectic vibe by pairing it with a super tight pencil skirt and pearls. Why not mix the rocker and girly vibe together!

I also would highly recommend this pencil skirt. It has an amazing fit and is tight all the way down to your knees. If you are a size xs, they have it available on-line in green and navy blue still at Zara for super cheap.

My Week of Holiday Outfits

Outfit #2 – Dressing Up Pants

THE CANVAS –

Shirt : Nordstrom (old) ~ Satin Pants : H&M (old) ~  Shoes : Steve Madden (on amazon) ~
Purse : Kate Spade ~ Long Necklace : Ann Taylor ~ Bracelet : Monica Macha  ~
Earrings : Charm & Chain (very similar, a little larger) ~ Sunglasses : Michael Kors

I saw this post on one of the many blogs I read, and I immediately put together an outfit consisting around some of my favorite Evergreen accessories. I can sometimes fall into the trap of wanting to wear red, black and white to all of my Holiday events, so I thought this was a good alternative that still looked very festive. For an even more glam look, I have been DYING over this green sequined dress from ASOS.

The gold chain necklace also helped give the outfit a little drama. Since this necklace is no longer available, you could try a ribbon or even get some gold mesh from a fabric store to re-create the look.
