In case any of you missed it, I did a blog swap with Bree from aBree Fashion on Monday and decided to share my look for any of you just visiting!

I wore this striped and neon ensemble to Sunday brunch at the Grand America on Easter. It has been a family tradition since I was a little girl to get a new easter dress and dress up for brunch. I loved seeing all the florals, bright colors and patterns this Easter, but thought this striped dress was the perfect fit and winner!

Blog Collaboration – Stripes With aBree Fashion

Blog Collaboration : STRIPES

Hey everyone, meet Bree! She is the fabulous fashion blogger at aBree Fashion! Not only is she a fabulous dresser, but she actually designs some of her own clothes as well.

Today I am thrilled to say that Bree and I have teamed up to show you a few of the different ways to wear stripes in these upcoming seasons. It seems that both of us have similar style, because we both chose dresses, and bright colors like neon pink and green to show off our look. Great minds think alike!

Visit her blog here to see how I syled my striped ensemble and where to get the merchandise 🙂

So excited to show off this blog swap!

xoxo

Around The Corner

Adding Spring to a Work Outfit

The Canvas –

Blouse : Forever21 (similar)~ Peplum Tom : ASOS ~ Pants : H&M ~
Belt : Ann Taylor ~ Purse : Fendi ~ Shoes : Steve Madden (ebay version)~
Sunglasses : Tom Ford ~ Earrings : Kate Spade (pink version) ~ Watch :Burberry

Spring is just around the corner and I can’t be more excited! This outfit is a little bit of a borderline look between winter and spring. I still had to layer my floral top with a dark blue peplum shirt for some added warmth and paired open-toe peep shoes with darker longer pants.

Adding Spring to Your Home :

The Home Canvas –

Tulips : Wal-Mart ~ Vase : Ralph Lauren ~ Bowl : (similar) ~
Magnifying Glass : (similar) ~ Cookbook : William Sonoma ~ Butcher Block : (similar) ~
iPhone Gramophone : Restoration Hardware

I am also trying to bring spring into the house by adding some florals and bright fruit. I got some spring tulips and put them in a clear vase and put a dozen apples in an oriental bowl (although this one is not from there, Home Goods always has great oriental vases, bowls and jars).

Happy Spring!!

You’re Making Me Blush

THE CANVAS –

Jacket : Forever21 (similar here, here)~ Shirt : Zara (old) ~ Pants : Old Navy ~
Fedora : Nordstrom ~ Sunglasses : Tom Ford ~ Shoes : Sam Edelman ~
Watch : Michael Kors ~ Purse : Tory Burch  (loving this)~ Ring : David Yurman ~

Blush is my new favorite color for this spring!

I just got this blush fedora from Nordstrom and can’t wait to wear it all spring and summer. I decided to pair my blush pieces with all white to give it a very fresh and spring look.

Can’t wait to see all the upcoming trends with the warming weather!
