Love this week’s linkup, Erin! Your Quince sweater paired with the April Seven Studio trousers is such a polished take on cozy — I completely agree that lightweight knits are the real workhorses of a fall wardrobe for layering. Chunky knits may get the glory, but it’s the fine-gauge sweaters that carry us through those in-between weeks. Heading over to browse the other linkups now!

Knits are absolutely the backbone of fall dressing — a good sweater makes everything else easier, bags included. I’ve noticed structured bags balance oversized knits better than slouchy ones, which can make the whole silhouette disappear. I put together the season’s structured picks over at BagOrbit for anyone comparing shapes. — Asher Gray, with the BagOrbit team
