…I got ENGAGED!

For anyone who doesn’t follow me on social media, I wanted to share the exciting news that I am going to be marrying the love of my life (Preston) this fall. I plan to share a whole post talking about the proposal and weekend, but I had to at least show all of you my ring (oh and my engagement glow…which I discovered is a real thing haha).

I’ve only been engaged for under two weeks and I already feel like there have been so many things I have had to start planning, especially since I decided to just go with the momentum and get married this year (eeek), instead of waiting a year until next summer. So naturally, with engagement parties, showers, bachelorette parties, honeymoon and more, I am already on the hunt for white dresses and any kind of wedding themed look.

Below are some of my favorite things I have found on the site, that have to do with all things WEDDING! But even if you aren’t in wedding planning mode like me (lol), so many of these pieces can be worn at so many other occasions. Today’s trend is Athleisure

I am typically a very fancy person, but lately I have been all about that relaxed life lately. But when wearing active or lounge wear I still want to look cute (but not pay a fortune!…insert certain high end brands here), so I tend to shop around for my looks on Forever21, Old Navy and Athleta and usually find much more affordable and well made items, like the leggings I am wearing today.

I also have become a more avid sports fan in the last few years, between college and professional football, march madness and attending baseball games at different stadiums. But, the one thing I always hated is that sports merch seemed to be expensive and never my girly style. I discovered Gameday Couture shortly after, and fell in love! (I literally wanted to create a store like this with dresses, glitter, and cute sayings with your favorite sports team). And if I don’t shop there, I also love to look at the college collections at Victoria Secret’s Pink section.
