The Classified Chic // To Be Bright

Today’s trend is BRIGHTS!

Typically we think of fall as a time for cooler colors and neutrals, but why not make a change and opt for a bright piece in your ensemble! Whether it is a great bright cashmere sweater, a bright heel or even a great handbag, think outside of the box and wear it this season.

Today it looks like all three cohosts not only went bright, but they also went PINK, so maybe that is a sign that it is going to be a hot color this fall! 😉

This dress was one of my favorites this summer, but like any summer dress, you can make it appropriate for fall by adding a simple jacket (I chose jean, but leather would be a great choice as well), and some simple boots. I think a nice high heel pair would be great, but with my high slits lol, I preferred the look of a flat heel.

Next week’s trend is HATS!

I absolutely LOVE hats! I throw them on all the time.

Sometimes it’s a great baseball hat with a casual outfit, a huge floppy hat to complete a beach look, or lately a great fedora to top off a new fall ensemble.

So I think fall is officially here!!

Even though I absolutely love the summer and warmer months, I think Fall is my absolute favorite season. There is something about coats, layers and scarves that have always caught my eye.

I think every year I went back-to-school shopping when I was younger, my favorite purchase was always picking out a new coat!

And trust me I can’t wait to wear this new Mint Julep trench for the next few cooler months and as a great rain jacket next spring. I seriously love how light weight the fabric feels, but it still has such great coverage. It was a total find because it is totally practical, yet fashionable.
