If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that last weekend I got to do a fun “stay-cation” at The Grand America!
My friends and I were able to enjoy the amazing tea, stay in one of the Garden Suites overlooking the pool, test out of the bakery La Bonne Vie, and enjoy the Sunday Brunch before leaving.
We were so lucky to have the talented Nina Tekwani come and take our photos while having Tea and strolling through the gardens. This post shows you a peek into the event! It is honestly one of the most fun things to do with your girlfriends or family and gives you an excuse to dress up and eat some delicious food!
And now one lucky Fashion Canvas winner has the opportunity to win a Tea at the “Tulips and Tea” event on Tuesday, April 29th for 2 (your pick of the noon or 3:30 pm seating)!!!!

So I decided to go a little formal for dinner the other night and play dress up!
I love wearing dresses and sparkly things, so I thought this jacket was a perfect compliment to my dress 🙂
I got this Jacket from SheInside, one of my favorite online clothing stores.
Since I have patterns on the brain lately for summer, I decided to put together a collage of some of my favorite patterned pieces they are offering right now on their site!

P.S . – I also wanted to tell you about my awesome sunglass find! I had been eyeing the Ray Ban silver metallic aviators for awhile now, so I was ecstatic when I stumbled upon this Forever21 cheaper version! They offer a very similar look, and I can wear them all summer without worrying if I will scratch the lenses. They are a great summer find that will be perfect for the pool and boating!!

Today’s trend is TEES!

I have been all about graphic tees lately. I think they are so fun paired with a good pair of distressed jeans, leggings or even a tulle skirt…like I did 🙂

I was so lucky to have Jordan Carli and Keala Jarvis Photography take my photos this week! The captured the look of this Style Lately “LOVE” shirt perfectly. The gold striped wall could not have been a more perfect backdrop for these shots.

Cheers to a fabulous weekend stay-cation at The Grand America!

If you follow my Instagram already, you will see I had the best weekend staying at The Grand America! We were able to enjoy afternoon tea, have some relaxing downtime in the room and end the weekend with a fabulous brunch.
I enjoyed every minute, and am planning my next visit now 🙂
