Today is my 26th birthday!!!!
One year older, and one year wiser.
Although I had no where that fancy to go, I figured why not dress up in a birthday worthy dress! Sometimes you just need to get some balloons and wear something sparkly on your special day.
Also, I have to admit, I did get this dress for a steal. My mom works at a local hotel in Utah and they were closing their boutiques for renovation, so the entire store was 90% off. No, that is not a typo! Normally I don’t think I could swallow buying a sequined party dress for that much, but with the discount, I didn’t think twice about it 🙂

Country Club

Down in Mexico I had my very first golf lesson! I was so excited because I have always really wanted to play (plus I love the outfits and the cute golf cart)
I was lucky that our house had its own personal golf cart to run around the community in, so it was the perfect prop for my outfit!
Only disadvantage of my first golf experience : I didn’t have a golf shirt, so I had to buy one at their golf club and let me tell you, did they mark it up, after looking at the price online, I realized I paid DOUBLE the price down there :(. What we will do for convenience haha

Floating Away

For a night out on the town in Mexico, I wanted to wear something flowly and light, but something that had a little more coverage since the ocean breeze by the restraunts could get slightly chilly at night. The scarf is a great resource because as I got chilly, I would drape the scarf over my arms to keep warm.

I love the color-block feel to this outfit. And keeping the palette to beige and turquoise kept it simple, yet festive, for the location.

The flowers and landscaping in the community we stayed at in Punta Mita was amazing. I have never seen it so impeccable.
The scene around me inspired me to mix my bright pink and yellow/green neons for a fresh and Mexican flare!
