Today’s trend is Leather

Leather is such a hot trend, especially as we start transitioning into fall (I can’t believe I am even saying that). So let’s start pulling out some of those pieces to show off what we will be wearing as the temperatures come down.

This week it was still too hot to pull out some of my main leather pieces, so instead I decided to pull in the leather accessories in my shoes and purses!

Next week’s trend is Dresses

I have been living in dresses this summer. Probably because it has been so hot and humid this summer, and I love that a dress is easy and light to throw on and works for almost any occassion. Now I just need to figure out what dress I want to show off next week!

Today’s trend is Gingham & Plaid

I bought a gingham dress from Old Navy last month, and I have been dying to show it on the blog. So looks like here is my chance! As a lot of you may know, I am expecting in December, and this is the perfect dress to wear. It is casual, gives me lots of room for my growing bump, and still looks fashionable. I did decide to throw on a belt purse, to give myself a little shape, but it can easily be worn either way!

Today’s trend is Maxi Dresses

I have been ALL ABOUT maxi dresses this summer. Something about the casual fit, breezy look and a little extra room for the growing bump have made them my go-to. And the nice thing with this style, is that I will continue to wear them into the fall and just throw on a light cardigan or an oversized blazer! For this week’s look, I am throwing it back to my brother and future sister-in-laws engagement party. My parents hosted some of their friends and family, and I thought this two-piece maxi from Lulus was the perfect casual summer look, but felt fancy at the same time. What is your go-to maxi selection this summer?

Today’s trend is Summer Vacay Looks

Summer is here, and that means lots of vacation time! Do you like tropical getaways? Nights in the mountains? Or days by the lake? No matter how you vacay, we want to see what you are packing away for those summer getaways.

For a little getaway a couple weeks ago, we ventured up into the mountains of Utah and explored the Sundance resort. It was so lovely to breathe in some fresh air, enjoy some cooler weather and escape for an evening away. And of course I had to pack some of my favorite athleisure wear to accompany me. I just got this jacket from Zella during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, and while it might still be a tad too hot to wear this jacket in the city, it was the perfect accessory to take with me up to the mountains.
