Today’s trend is Valentine’s Day Looks

Can you believe it is already Febraury?! The months seem to be flying by. And although these winter months are not always my favorite, one thing I do look forward to is celebrating Valentine’s Day. Not only is it a day of love, but it is also the dating anniversary for Preston and I, so we always make sure to make it a very special occassion. And this year, I even incorporated a few special details into my outfit. The shoes and hair clip I am wearing in this post are actually from my wedding day! It was fun to pull them out and use them to celebrate our love. xoxo

Today’s trend is Fitness Favorites

I have been the biggest fan of fitness wear for the last year or two! I’m not sure if it is because I work from home more, or just have a more casual daily approach to style, but I love to wear a good pair of leggings, workout top and sneakers. 

Today, I am sharing with you one of my recent “fitness inspired” looks from a trip I took to San Diego. It was a surprisingly rainy day in San Diego, but that didn’t stop us from heading to the beach. But just to be safe I threw on a hat, rain coat and some casual sneakers just in case there was any rainfall that day.

Today’s trend is Winter Vests

While most people throw on a jacket or sweater during the cold months to keep themsleves warm, vests are also an awesome option! They are currently all over my tik tok FYP page or my instagram feed with most people are wearing them as a street style look with large oversize vests over sweatshirts, jackets, etc. 

Today, I decided to share a look that I fell in love wiht on first site. I found this cropped puffer vest on Amazon and had originally thought I would buy it in black, until I saw the hot pink option and couldn’t pass it up.

Today’s trend is Dresses

Every year, around Christmas time, my mom, sister and I always venture down to The Grand America to enjoy some festive holiday Afternoon Tea! It is such a fun experience and we look forward to going every year to experience the food, music, window stroll and all the holiday decorations. Unfortunatley, this year my sister was not able to join us due to testing positive for Covid right before Christmas Eve, but my mom and I still ventured down and had the most amazing Sunday afternoon. 

Do you live in Utah? If you do, I would highly recommend the afternoon tea anytime of the year. Another fun time of year to go is when the flowers start blooimg around April or Easter weekend! 

And while the tea does not have a specific dress code, I would say most guests tend to dress up, so definitley throw on those dresses, skirts, fancy jackets/sweaters, and embrace the theme of High Tea!
