SWIMSUIT EDITION

Since summer is in full swing, and one of the few activities we can do is be outside and near a body of water or pool, I decided to share some of my favorite swimsuits with you. 

This entire outfit was planned around my blue Tory Burch sandals. Because why wouldn’t it? Especially with how great that blue color is. What sandals do you wear when boating?

Today’s trend is Sandals, Slip-Ons & Sneakers

What is more summer than a swimsuit? But to make your swimsuit even cooler…you have to find some fly shoes to go with it. While I tend to opt for sandals and slip-ons, I have seen a trend of wearing chunky sneakers with swimsuits (not sure if I am that cool though lol). Also…I really want to try wearing an oversized levi jacket over my swimsuit…but again, trying to decide it it’s my style, or if I just envy the girls on Instagram pulling it off. What do you think?

Today’s trend is Accessories

We went up the canyon a few weeks ago to celebrate my sister’s birthday! With social distancing, and the spread of Covid, we have been trying to do as many outdoor activities as possible. I think it all makes us feel a little safer, and what better excuse to enjoy the good old outdoors. 

Since we were heading up to enjoy some camping style breakfast, I decided to throw on some of my favorite rugged accessories, including my Stetson hat (if you are ever going to buy a quality cowboy hat, please buy one of these), a chic bandanna and some killer shades. 

My accessories are definitely what helped pull this outfit together (yet I must admit, my favorite thing about the entire look, was the simple side braid in my hair). But just remember, that if you are heading to the mountains, a ranch, or for a shady picnic, it can be fun to throw on a few of those outdoor pieces to really give your outfit a theme. And if you aren’t into western accessories, you can always throw on a baseball cap instead.

Today’s trend is Dresses & Rompers

Guys…this dress might be one of my favorite dresses I have EVER owned. The fit and details of the lace on this dress are so flattering and different. And the best part about it, is it is on sale! I will say this dress does not have a lot of give to it because of the fact that it is a thick and structured lace. I am 5′ 5″ and about 145 pounds and I got the Medium. I think it was the best size to get and I wouldn’t have sized up or down. If this lace dress isn’t your thing, make sure to check out all the other dresses and rompers Lulu’s has to offer. They have such a huge selection of unique choices and is definitely my go-to place!

Today’s trend is Summer Style

This summer, I couldn’t think of anything that is more on trend than Tie-Dye. It has hit the scene and it is not going anywhere, so of course I had to jump on the bandwagon. I found this tie dye dress at Lulu’s and I love it. The floaty materials, the balloon sleeves, and of course the print all grabbed my attention. Lulus is one of my favorite places to buy dresses, or just clothes in general. Do you have some boutiques that will be your favorite summer shops?
