Even though I wasn’t super original, I had to show you my absolute go-to pair of leggings. These faux leather Spanx leggings have been an absolute staple for me for years and I couldn’t live without them. If you have ever considered getting them, I promise they are worth the investment. Today’s trend is Casual Style

If you didn’t know, Utah got hit with a massive wind storm and we were dealing with the chaos of the event. Between patio furniture and debris everywhere, huge broken tree branches (on my favorite backyard tree nonetheless) and many people without power, it was quite a morning. And for a little icing on the cake, last night we were visiting Preston’s mom because while we were out of town in Sun Valley this weekend, she was watching our dogs and had a freak accident with our big black lab and broke her ankle (requiring surgery, and 3 months of rehabilitation). Besides my engagement, 2020 has not been my favorite year. It feels like every week brings some new event and it is all piling up too much. I keep saying that the next month will bring some calmness, yet unfortunately it feels like September has proven to be none the less. 

So today, I am sharing an outfit I wore up in Sun Valley last weekend and taking you back to one of the best times I have had in a long time. Sun Valley is definitely my happy place, and this labor day weekend was no exception. We enjoyed a weekend exploring Ketchum, playing golf, listening to music and playing lots of games. Wishing I could teleport back to this moment, but since I can’t, we will just enjoy the photos instead. 

Next week’s trend is Leggings

I am the queen of leggings…especially as the weather starts cooling down (by the way…we went from 90 degrees this weekend, to 55 today…and back up this next weekend, so who knows what to expect). But as Fall is here, I am going to embrace all my fall leggings, sweaters, hats and scarves…because maybe that will start making me feel like it is a normal Autumn. 

What do you typically pair with leggings? Sweaters? Sweatshirts? Athletic wear? Crop tops? We want to see all the styles next week!

Today’s trend is Fall Style

Can you believe it is September 1st? Fall is almost here and I can’t wait. While I love the summer weather, there is something about Fall that I can’t get enough of. Between the sweaters, the leggings, fall colors and more, it is definitely my favorite time to dress for. Today I pulled out some of my favorite pieces to get me excited for Fall. And as the weather drops more, I may even pair this outfit with some cute high boots or maybe even a cute fall hat.

Today’s trend is Labor Day Looks

Labor Day weekend is usually the signal that Fall is right around the corner…and with it, football games, farmer’s markets and Halloween. But sadly, this year may look a little different. So rather than embracing all the fall activities, I will be fully embracing sweaters, fall colors and lots and lots of layers. But I am going to take THIS Labor Day to live up the last bit of summer we have and chose to wear an outfit that screams summer with crisp whites, bright colors and bold earrings.
