For this week’s free day I decided to do a dressed up summer look. What is great about this dress too is that if you throw it on with some flats, it can be quite casual, or I could switch it out for some wedge sandals and dress it up.

Who doesn’t love wearing shorts in the summer? I know I do!

And….I just got my FAVORITE new pair of jean shorts last week. I heard so much about the Agolde shorts (everyone had rave reviews about them)…and I must admit, I love them too! They are the perfect fit because they ae tight, but not too tight. What jean shorts do you like?

Today’s trend is Dressing Up

This last weekend, we went up to the mountains for Fourth of July! While typically I just wear workout shorts, and casual outfits when I am venturing up to the mountain resorts, I figured why not use any opportunity right now when I am out of the house to wear some type of dressed up outfit. 

To keep this dress still looking appropriate for the mountain scenery, I paired it with my favorite Levi jacket from Target, some flat sandals and a belt to help make it a bit more appropriate for the situation. 

I got so many compliments on how cute this dress was, and I think it was so flattering with the cinched in belt. I am sad to say this dress is very old, but I did link to some alternatives (here and here).
