We went out for a little stroll with this precious new tyke (Winston) over the weekend! It was fun exploring some of the local shops in the 9th and 9th area (my favorites in that area are Apartment 202, Koo De Ker and Hip & Humble) and getting to spend some time outdoors with this fresh spring weather.

Although we did spend time outside, it was still a bit nippy (as we have had some spring showers lately), so this new pink leather jacket from Lonny's was the perfect item to throw on and complete my "pink look". It is a great lightweight jacket, and the color makes it idea for the spring days and summer nights. I may have to go get it in blue, since this pink version has become such a staple.

Also, you may have noticed that I got a new website theme over the weekend and am trying out a new logo! Let me know what you think, as I am still in the process of finalizing it and would love your opinions.

Today’s trend is STATEMENT PIECES!

Go big or go home! That is my motto.

Whether it is a statement necklace, earrings, shoe or dress, I want to see those pieces you wear when you really want to stand out among the crowd.

For me, to stand out, I like glam and sophistication. I tied in red throughout my outfit with a bold red lip, Louboutin heels, and the lining from a great bucket bag. This bag from Bag Inc. lately has become my go-to purse. I love that I can fit so many things in it and wear it on my shoulder or as a cross-body. It is a must have style.

Next week's trend is WHITE!

Memorial Day is right around the corner! Lets start pulling out those white outfits to gear up for the summer months. (Even though I have been wearing it for months now hehe. I never follow the rules.)
