My darling Aunt Susie made this amazing Chevron Quilt for me last fall and I have been loving it ever since I got it! The details in person are beautiful and I take it with me everywhere. It is so soft and cozy, and keeps me warm on any night. Now that summer is upon us, I can’t wait to take it out to the park and enjoy some picnics and lounging.

The quilt really inspired my outfit choice today. I loved mixing the bold navy blue and coral, while also playing with patterns and keeping the prints fun, loud and bold.

Plus the outfit had the perfect amount of sparkle to it! Always a great finishing touch.

I will admit I thought this outfit was pretty chic until I compared myself to a “Beetlejuice” photo and there was a slight resemblance haha. But sometimes you must take risks to stand out in the crowd. 

I  have seen stripe on stripe looks everywhere and love that these stripes had different orientations to them. I also thought, heck why not add some neon and blue to this outfit 🙂 to give it even more pizazz!!

I was so excited to team up with the lovely Jordan Carli Photography to take some pictures for the blog! Jordan is an amazing photographer who specializes in Weddings, Engagement, Newborns and Family photos.

We did a fun shoot in downtown Salt Lake City and I wore a neon green ensemble with my favorite black dramatic skirt. People were staring as we walked across the streets of Salt Lake in this get-up, but I love it.
