Today’s trend is Easter Dress

Easter is coming up in just a few short weeks. With the pandemic of Corona Virus, you never know if we will be able to celebrate like we usually do with churches, restaurants and everything else closed. But it might be best to brighten your spirits and throw on an Easter dress anyways. Find something that makes you feel like Spring, and lets hope this warm weather hits us soon. 

Have you found your Easter outfit yet? I wore this dress last week for my birthday (hence the balloons)…and I think it would be a great dress to wear for Easter as well. The color is bright and cheery, but the black accessories are perfect for a transitional outfit.

Next week’s trend is Spring Prints

Spring makes me think of all kinds of prints and patterns…especially checkers, polka dots…and over course, florals! Most likely I will be wearing some type of floral print, to entice some of the flowers to spring up.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! While you may have thought we would choose green today, we decided to go to basic black. You can never go wrong with this classic color. It works for all seasons, and in most settings.

Today’s trend is Accessories

A couple of weekends ago, we headed up to Jackson Hole, and let me tell you, it was beautiful! Between the snowy mountains, blue skis, and amazing landscapes, I was in heaven. But with the beautiful mountains, came the colder temperatures, so I definitely layered up with lots of accessories to keep me warm. Plus this Stetson hat was the perfect accessory to bring because Jackson is definitely a cowboy state, and I fit right in.

I always recommend that if you have never been to a certain area, do a little pinterest or google search, and see what people are wearing. That way you can look like a local, no matter where you go!

Today’s trend is Athleisure

I am typically a very fancy person, but lately I have been all about that relaxed life lately. But when wearing active or lounge wear I still want to look cute (but not pay a fortune!…insert certain high end brands here), so I tend to shop around for my looks on Forever21, Old Navy and Athleta and usually find much more affordable and well made items, like the leggings I am wearing today. 

I also have become a more avid sports fan in the last few years, between college and professional football, march madness and attending baseball games at different stadiums. But, the one thing I always hated is that sports merch seemed to be expensive and never my girly style. I discovered Gameday Couture shortly after, and fell in love! (I literally wanted to create a store like this with dresses, glitter, and cute sayings with your favorite sports team). And if I don’t shop there, I also love to look at the college collections at Victoria Secret’s Pink section. 

Do you have any hidden gems where you like to get active or sports wear? Please share with me because I am always trying to find the latest and greatest, and love to find some unique pieces.
