A few weeks ago, I had felt like summer was slipping away. We had terrible thunder/rain storms and the temperatures were dropping. While this may be good for some, I am one of those people that LOVE summer and the dry heat in Utah!

Well, fast forward three weeks and we are back up to 100 degree plus weather and I have become a sun goddess for now. But for any of you that may be experiencing some colder fronts this summer, here was an outfit I wore to mix both warm and cold temperatures.

(One trick, was that I decided to pair this layered ensemble with a peep toe bootie, to give it a more summery vibe!)

So I can’t tell you how much I LOVE the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale every year!

But I am not going to lie, it gets me so excited for my fall wardrobe, that I find myself trying to justify wearing leather and sweater in 100 degree July heat lol. Well this year is nothing different!

As you can see from my favorite selections, I am definitely shifting towards tons of leather and “berry” hues. Swoon! Even though I tend to stick to the brights, you will definitely be seeing me in this very fall inspired color palette in the next few months.

But until then, I’ll store some of these puppies until the weather chills down a bit…how crazy am I that I am actually wanting summer to be over just to wear some of these haha.

Whether you style them on your dresses, in your hair, or on your tows, I can’t wait to see all the ways you are wearing this popular and very girly trend!

I was lucky enough to team up with the fabulous Paige from Paige Arminta!! We decided to do a black and white them, and take photos downtown by the beautiful temple gardens. The flowers were the perfect pop of color in the background.
