Today’s trend is BAGS, BACKPACKS & CLUTCHES!

This week I am showing you two ways to wear your bags and clutches.

In my first look, I show you how heels and a clutch can make your outfit completely work appropriate and allows you to head for a date night right when you are done.

The second look is a more casual and fun approach. Try pairing two different prints that have the same color tones as the rest of the outfit. I figured this cheetah print and Louis Vuitton print would blend well together and give the casual look a bit more soul.

 Next week’s trend is SPRING FASHION!

Today’s trend is CASUAL DAY!

While it can be fun to dress up on occasion, it seems that everyone’s favorite is their Casual Wear looks. My mom always jokes that I get more comments on the days I throw on a pair of jeans or leggings and a comfy simple sweater with a hat.

For this weeks look, I took this after going to a Sunday matinee movie with my mom. We love going to movies, and if you are a Salt Lake native, you must try the Sugarhouse Theater movies. They have recliners for all of their seats, making it the most comfy experience around.

To keep it causal I wore this Joie sweater that has been on serious repeat lately, some flats and had to bring an umbrella with me because we had a slight downpour Sunday afternoon. But who doesn’t love a good umbrella to finish off a look?

Today’s trend is ACCESSORIES!

My favorite thing of outfit planning is actually the accessories! It puts the finishing touches on any look and can take your outfit to a whole new level. Whether it is jewelry, watches, hats, bags or scarves, the possibilities are endless.

This last week I was in Cancun, Mexico. We loved enjoying time at the beach, exploring the town, doing some deep sea fishing (proud to say I caught about 10 fish), and soaking up the Mexican sun.

On our last day, we decided to walk around town to explore and got some of the best burritos from a local shop. I threw on some casual shorts and a fun tank and topped off the look with these amazing tassel earrings! They completely make the look festive and are a good accessory to wear when your hair is pulled back to give them real emphasis.

 Next week’s trend is CASUAL DAY!
